GSA awarded its Smart Access Common Identification Card contracts to five prime vendors
The General Services Administration today awarded five governmentwide smart
card contracts worth a maximum of $1.5 billion over 10 years.
GSA awarded its Smart Access Common Identification Card contracts to five
prime vendors: KPMG Consulting LLC, Litton/PRC Inc., Electronic Data Systems
Corp., 3-G International Inc. and Logicon Inc.
The Smart Access Common ID Card contract will provide interoperable, multi-application
smart cards that agencies can use for identification and authentication,
physical and logical access control and other applications.
