GTSI brings two more into fold

Government customers seeking to better monitor their e-business systems

and applications and those looking for fault-tolerant servers can find help

in a pair of alliances announced Monday by GTSI Corp.

GTSI, a business-to-government IT solutions provider, now offers its

public-sector customers Internet services management (ISM) solutions from

Resonate Inc. The second alliance makes GTSI the first B2G provider to offer

the complete line of hardware fault-tolerant servers from Resilience Corp.

Resonate's ISM platform is a family of software and services that perform

real-time automated corrective action on e-business applications. The company

already counts the National Institutes of Health as a customer.

"The announcement with GTSI is very significant to Resonate since [GTSI

is] the largest government channel partner for [us]," a Resonate spokeswoman

said. "We feel that this partnership will really help us gain more ground

in the public sector. In fact, we started working with GTSI right away and

have since closed a deal with the National Science Foundation."

Resonate has some government clients, but this will be Resilience's

introduction to the public-sector market.

Resilience products and services run all Sun Microsystems Inc. Solaris

applications without modification and will be available through GTSI's National

Institutes of Health-Electronic Computer Store and NASA's Scientific and

Engineering Workstation Procurement contracts.

"Our servers are an excellent fit for the government space," said Denny

Olmsted, the president and chief executive officer at Resilience, in a release.

"They deliver the fault tolerance that mission-critical government applications

require in an affordable, low-maintenance system that runs all Solaris applications."
