Xplore adds to CDW-G rugged line

Xplore's rugged, pen-based wireless computing products will be available through the GSA schedule

CDW-G Inc. has added to its rugged, mobile computing offerings through a reseller and co-marketing agreement with Xplore Technologies Corp., the company announced Tuesday.

Through a deal with CDW-G, Xplore's Ramline and GeneSys rugged, pen-based wireless computing product lines will be available through the General Services Administration Federal Supply Schedule as well as on other agency contracts that CDW-G holds.

The Ramline and GeneSys mobile computing systems are already used by the law enforcement, utility and warehousing industries. Xplore expects that its relationship with CDW-G will bring the products to federal, state and local education and military agencies, according to a statement from Xplore.

The announcement is the second recent deal in which CDW-G will resell rugged mobile computing products. The company announced earlier this month it would resell Itronix Corp.'s rugged notebook and handheld computers through the GSA schedule.
