Seagull takes flight on GSA sked

The General Services Administration announced Nov. 5 that it has awarded a Federal Supply Schedule contract to Seagull, a provider of software that can help agencies convert legacy applications into Web-based services.

Seagull's solutions include extending and integrating legacy applications with the Web and desktop computers. The Atlanta-based company's products are available under the schedule contract for immixTechnology.

Seagull's government customers include the Treasury and Interior departments, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and offices in the states of Arkansas, Missouri, California and Utah.

Kim Addington, senior vice president of marketing for Seagull, said federal agencies can use the company's offerings to "accelerate the delivery of government functions as Web services."
