GoBook II built for government

New notebook has removable hard drive to enhance security and a unique set of wireless capabilities

Itronix Corp. announced today the latest addition to its line of ruggedized notebooks, the GoBook II.

Two major new features make this notebook especially attractive for government buyers:

* The removable hard drive, which enhances security by allowing sensitive data to stay with trusted users, even if the notebook is used by several people.

* A unique set of wireless capabilities.

Its die-cast magnesium case houses a 12.1-inch color display suitable for outdoor viewing and a keyboard that glows in the dark.

The notebook comes with a 1.7 GHz Intel Corp. Mobile Pentium IV processor, up to 1,024M of memory and a 20G or 30G shock-mounted removable hard drive.
