Letter to the editor

Although I never met the man, I want to join in praising Greg Woods and all that he accomplished at the Department of Education ["Education's Greg Woods dies"].

He was truly an advocate of the everyday citizen and worked hard to cut through the tangled mess of information technology systems that the department had in place on his arrival.

He "humanized" the processes that we all work with every day and made our system of financial aid much less cumbersome.

God bless this man and his family in his passing. He was a true patriot.
