SRA gets $105 million GAO task order
Contract is for continued information systems outsourcing services that SRA provides to GAO
The General Services Administration announced March 3 that it has awarded a task order worth up to $105 million to SRA International Inc.
The task order is for continued information systems outsourcing services that SRA provides to the General Accounting Office.
The task order, awarded under GSA's Millennia contract, will last six years and replaces an older one that has expired. SRA had worked under contract to GAO since 1998, said chief executive officer Ernst Volgenau in a statement.
SRA is modernizing and managing GAO's information technology infrastructure under the contract.
Subcontractors include NCI Information Systems Inc., Peace Technology Inc., PEC Solutions Inc., RGB Technology Inc., Beyond Print Inc., Harris Associates and BusinessEdge Solutions Inc.
SRA's responsibilities include maintaining networks and infrastructure, along with security engineering, intrusion detection, continuity of operations planning, enterprise architecture and software engineering.
Volgenau called the contract renewal a "vote of confidence."
