Joint Forces award IT contract

Contract will support U.S. Joint Forces Command's information systems

The Philadelphia detachment of the Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk, has awarded a $10 million contract for the support of the U.S. Joint Forces Command's information systems.

Professional Software Engineering Inc., based in Virginia Beach, Va., won the contract.

The company's tasks include planning, development, documentation, training, system administration, systems engineering, configuration management, network engineering, computer operations and information technology initiatives.

The contract includes four options, which, if exercised, could raise its total value to $55.6 million. The base period is one year.
