McConnell hires ex-government execs

They include men with experience from the Internal Revenue Service, General Services Administration, Coast Guard and Office of Management and Budget.

McConnell International LLC today announced the addition of four former senior government executives to its bank of consultants.

They include executives with experience from the Internal Revenue Service, the General Services Administration, the Coast Guard and the Office of Management and Budget.

"Our clients' government revenue targets are aggressive," said Bruce McConnell, president of MI and former information technology chief at OMB, and a columnist for Federal Computer Week. "The addition of four more outstanding executives to our team will promote government missions and increase our clients' wins."

The new consultants include:

John Reece, the former chief information officer at the IRS.

Charles Self, the former deputy commissioner of the Federal Technology Service.

John Tritak, former director of the federal government's Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office.

Gordon Piche, RADM, USCG (Retired) who spent 20 years in the Coast Guard working in marine safety, port security and environmental protection.

The latest additions to McConnell's team join 18 other former senior executives of federal agencies and private industry, as well as former senior congressional staff. MI provides marketplace strategy, targeted intelligence and access. They also work to help clients win new business.
