AMS appoints Keating to board
The tech services firm says it can use the former Oklahoma governor's knowledge of state, local and federal government.
American Management Systems (AMS) Inc. has appointed former two-term Oklahoma Gov. Frank Keating to its board of directors. Keating, who served as governor from 1995 until January, is president and chief executive officer of the American Council of Life Insurers.
AMS chairman and chief executive officer Alfred Mockett said Keating brings several qualities to the board. "Throughout his career, Frank has earned a reputation for a steadfast commitment to integrity in business and government," Mockett said. "We look forward to Frank bringing his experience and wealth of knowledge of federal, state and local government to the board."
Keating began his career in law enforcement, as an FBI special agent, then as a federal and state prosecutor, before moving into the state legislature.
