PeopleSoft product passes JFMIP
The company's Enterprise Financial Management 8.8 received the certification required for federal use.

PeopleSoft Inc.'s Enterprise Financial Management 8.8 has been awarded the Joint Financial Management Improvement Program certification, which financial management software solutions must get for federal agencies to use them.
According to company officials, the certification validates PeopleSoft's compliance with JFMIP's testing requirements for improving business processes such as cost management, regulatory reporting, funds allocation, and budget preparation.
The company has added more than 225 new features and best practices enhancements to the financial management system, according to company officials. They include expanded functionality for electronic submission of federal reports, automated adjustment of transactions and federal-specific interfaces.
