Consulting firm Robbins-Gioia LLC has been sold to the Institute for International Research, company officials confirmed late Monday.
Chief executive officer Jim Leto has told Robbins-Gioia employees that he will stay on as CEO.
A Robbins-Gioia spokeswoman confirmed market speculation about the sale, but offered no additional details. The company is expected to announce further details on Tuesday, she said.
Robbins-Gioia, based in Alexandria, Va., specializes in project management consulting.
