Manugistics gets new boss
The software company appointed Joe Cowan ad CEO.
Manugistics Group Inc. has appointed Joe Cowan to be its new chief executive officer, starting today. Gregory Owens will continue as chairman of the board.
Cowan comes to Manugistics from EXE Technologies Inc., where he was president and CEO.
"Joe is an excellent choice to lead Manugistics through challenging market conditions and guide the company through this period," Owens said in a statement. "He has a proven track record in managing multimillion-dollar global operations. Our company and our customers will be well served by Joe's in-depth experience in leading and motivating worldwide teams, as well as, delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction."
