SRA works on deadbeat dad system
The Health and Human Services Department has awarded a task order to SRA International for work related to the expanded Federal Parent Locator Service.
The Health and Human Services Department has awarded a task order to SRA International for work related to the expanded Federal Parent Locator Service. The FPLS aids child support agencies in finding non-custodial parents who are delinquent on child support payments.
The task order, awarded under the Chief Information Officer Solutions and Partners 2 Innovations (CIO-SPi) contract, is worth up to $59.9 million over five years if all options are exercised.
SRA will assist HHS officials in managing and monitoring the development and enhancement of the FPLS. SRA officials will conducts tests of system changes, perform quality reviews of the data that the various FPLS systems produce and provide technical support to state authorities, among other duties. SRA has provided program management and operations support for the FPLS since 1996.
