CSC updates fed contract figures
The company announced $546.1 million in contracts that were signed in the first quarter of 2005.
The federal sector business unit at Computer Sciences Corp. has signed 50 previously unannounced contracts worth up to $546.1 million since Jan. 1, officials announced today. The contracts are part of the company's fourth fiscal quarter, which ends April 1.
Civil agencies accounted for 13 of the awards, about $84 million. Defense Department agencies accounted for the rest, 37 awards valued at $462 million.
Under these contracts, CSC employees will conduct information technology analysis, systems integration and modernization, consulting, engineering and other services.
The estimated contract values assume that agencies will use all possible options to extend the contracts to their longest possible terms.
