The IT solutions provider snared contracts with the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
CDW Government announced today that it has won two state education contracts.
The information technology solutions provider snared a multimedia equipment contract with the Massachusetts Higher Education Consortium and a multiple-award contract with the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.
The Massachusetts deal is a two-year agreement that calls for CDW-G to deliver Polycom videoconferencing equipment and accessories. In addition, the company will provide multimedia projectors, accessories and lamps from such vendors as 3M, Canon, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, InFocus, Optoma, Proxima, Sharp Electronics and Toshiba.
CDW-G has held the Massachusetts contract in the past, according to a company spokeswoman. The company also has contracts with the consortium for software and security devices, she added.
The consortium manages goods and services contracts for 83 member institutions, including 15 community colleges, nine state colleges, five campuses of the University of Massachusetts system, and 49 private colleges and universities in New England.
Pennsylvania's pact includes a two-year base period and three one-year renewal options. The contract lets university faculty and staff order technology products from CDW-G's catalog. The Pennsylvania system includes 14 university campuses, four branch campuses and the Dixon University Center in Harrisburg, Pa.
