Outsourcing... out there
Of course, I was interested in the part about 'declining satisfaction.'
We look at outsourcing a lot, of course. The WSJ [subscription required] this morning has this little tidbit:
LOOKING AHEAD: Technology outsourcing is expected to increase [WSJ.com story so subscription required] this year despite declining satisfaction with offshore providers, a new survey shows. The survey of over 450 executives conducted by consulting firm DiamondCluster [here is a link to their survey in .pdf] also found that while the U.S. and India remain the largest hotspots for outsourcing, China has emerged as another alternative. A Manpower survey [WJS.com story so subcription required] found that 57 percent of U.S. firms see no change in third-quarter staff levels, while 31 percent plan to increase hiring.
