STG opens South Carolina office
The new program office supports State Department and DOD projects.
STG, a provider of information technology, technical security, engineering and scientific services, has opened a program office in North Charleston, S.C., to support contracts it holds with the State and Defense departments.
The office will support State's Office of Global Financial Services and the Navy's Space and Naval Warfare (Spawar) Systems Command office in Charleston. It also will support the Charleston Passport Center.
STG currently provides performance-based IT and systems engineering services to State and the Naval European Command through Spawar Systems, Charleston.
For State, STG will continue to provide IT support to the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Global Financial Services, which supports 250 posts in 180 countries. STG's work includes internal and financial systems operations, customer support and training, and systems development and maintenance.
For the Navy, STG provides centralized global enterprise management support to more than 30 classified and unclassified networks on Navy bases and military commands throughout the eastern United States, Europe and the Middle Eastern country of Bahrain.
