Essentially, it looks like they create a jet pilot that is run by computers, until it gets struck by lightening and... bam... it gets a life of its own and turns on its creators. It is always interesting to see Hollywood's view of Defense information technology -- it is rarely good. Remember 1983's ? Also not a very positive look at government tech. Even in the movies, it was a government Defense contractor that created this super-computer that eventually turns on mankind. (Is that the movie?)Of course, the shows on television show IT as a central character helping sleuths solve crimes, but in general, government IT does not have a very good representation in Tinsel Town.

So I'm at the movies Sunday seeing Star Wars for the second time, this time with a seven-year-old, however. Anyway, one of the previews was for a new movie, Stealth. The studio's description:
Deeply ensconced in a top-secret military program, three pilots struggle to bring an artificial intelligence program under control ... before it initiates the next world war.
