The WP today has an interesting piece (ours is in the works) about a new study by the Congressional Management Foundation that shows more and more, people are communicating via e-mail. Yes, I know! Shocking, isn't it!?! Unfortunately, as we all know, it isn't always easy to keep up with all those messages.
According to the group:
The Internet and e-mail have made it easier and cheaper than ever before for citizens to communicate with their Members of Congress. In 2004 Congress received 200 million communications, four times more than in 1995 -- the direct result of Internet-based communications.
