W's summer reading list

This interesting tidbit from the LAT this morning, which I am pulling from the WSJ.com's AM e-mail newsletter, one of the many e-mail newsletters I get every day.

Los Angeles Times [registration required]: President Bush chose three book to read on his five-week vacation at his Texas ranch: "Salt: A World History" by Mark Kurlansky, who chronicled the rise and fall of what once was considered the world's most strategic commodity; "Alexander II: The Last Great Tsar" by Edvard Radzinsky; and "The Great Influenza: The Epic Story of the Deadliest Plague in History" by John M. Barry.
