Very cool hurricane site
Check out this cool Web site from the folks over at NOAA.
I found it via Poynter's Al Tompkins.
The "Aim a Hurricane" Site [Poynter.org, 9.26.2005]
This site allows you to position high and low pressures, then drag a storm to a part of the screen and see what happens. It is an interesting way to learn how various factors determine where a storm goes. Thanks to Al's Morning Meeting reader Scott O. McCrary at CBS Newspath for the tip.
