SI Treasury work broadens

SI International has captured a $50 million contract with the Treasury Department’s Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

The contract expands the scope of the integrator’s work at the Treasury bureau. Under an earlier contract, SI International provides project management services in support of OCC’s licensing information system. The newly awarded pact broadens the work to include potential support for any project or project management office within OCC, according to an SI International spokesman.

OCC charters, regulates and supervises national banks and monitors the federal branches and agencies of foreign banks.

The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has a one-year base period and four one-year options. SI International’s subcontractors on the contract include three small businesses: the Ambit Group, Chevo Consulting and Project Performance.

In addition to project management, SI International could potentially provide services such as information technology capital planning support, research and analysis of IT development and solutions, feasibility studies, systems engineering, and technical analysis, according to the company.

The integrator's project management pact comes at a time when OCC has undertaken a series of projects under its Enterprise Business Vision initiative. In this effort, OCC seeks to implement a centralized, Internet-based approach for conducting transactions with banks.
