SRA International has raised almost $146,000 for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund, the company announced today. The money comes from employee donations and a $50,000 company match.
“This donation reflects our corporate commitment to caring for people and serving our country and communities," said David Kriegman, SRA’s chief operating officer.
"We are proud that our employees have shown such compassion and generosity to help restore the lives and communities so devastated by these unprecedented events," he added, referring to hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
Kay Curling, SRA’s director of Work/Life Solutions and organizer of the campaign, also praised the company's 4,600 employees. “Once again, SRA employees have pledged overwhelming support for a humanitarian cause," she said.
