This tidbit from FCW editor at large Judi Hasson:
A new name has surfaced for a big job at the Homeland Security Department. Our sources tell us that the White House will be tapping George Foresman as the new undersecretary of preparedness at the department. Look for the announcement sometime next week.
Foresman is well-known in Virginia where he's been Gov. Mark Warner's chief for commonwealth preparedness. He serves as the principal advisor and overall coordinator for homeland security, preparedness, and relations with military commands and installations throughout Virginia.
And we sure hope someone has told him about housing prices in the nation's capital. Talk about being prepared!
