Simmons previously led enterprise sales in the company's Government Systems division.
Citrix Systems has appointed Thomas Simmons as area vice president of its Government Systems division. Simmons had been the division’s enterprise sales manager.
He now manages all aspects of Citrix's federal government operations. The division works directly with government customers and through partners.
Simmons came to the company from Trend Micro and has more than 16 years of information technology management experience, Citrix said.
Simmons’ extensive experience in providing IT “to government agencies emphasizes our commitment to delivering mission-focused solutions to our government customers,” said Al Monserrat, Citrix vice president and general manager for North America, in a prepared statement.
