CSC deal falling apart?

There are reports out this morning that the sale of Computer Sciences Corp. is -- or has -- fallen apart.

In case you didn't hear, Lockheed Martin was in talks about buying CSC. The buy would have dramatically altered the government procurement landscape. As is often with these situations, there is a lot of speculation about what those changes would mean, but the changes are ususally difficult -- if not impossible -- to predict.

It will be interesting to see if this makes CSC more vulnerable to other suitors.
