SI hires HR exec

SI International has appointed Lee Stratton to be senior vice president of human resources. Stratton will oversee the integrator’s recruitment, management, retention and training of employees. He will report directly to Brad Antle, SI International’s president and chief executive officer.

SI has elevated the top human resources position from vice president to senior vice president because of the firm's increased effort to find, hire and keep highly qualified information technology professionals, a company spokesman said. The labor market for skilled IT employees remains highly competitive as integrators compete with other kinds of firms for the talent.

Stratton joins SI International from GE. He has also held human resources posts at TRW and Raytheon.
