CSC claims $575 million in unannounced deals
Company reveals 97 contracts that it had not previously noted, most with DOD.
Computer Sciences Corp. announced today that its federal sector unit has signed 97 contracts since Oct. 1 that were not previously announced. The value of the contracts could reach $575 million if the agencies involved exercise all of the optional extensions, according to company estimates.
The contracts will count as part of the third quarter of CSC's fiscal year. The quarter ends Dec. 30.
The contracts include 42 deals with civilian agencies and 55 with the Defense Department, ranging in duration from one month to five years. The civilian contracts are worth a maximum of $271 million, and the DOD awards reach almost $304 million, according to the company.
