Services unit brings in an estimated $32 million and has 100 employees.
ITS, an information technology services company, has acquired a federal business unit of Noesis.
ITS’ purchase of Noesis’ Federal Sector Support Services business brings with it 100 employees and estimated revenue of $32 million. The acquired company is based in Arlington, Va. and will operate as the Noesis Business Unit. ITS, based in Oxnard, Calif., announced the transaction on Thursday.
The Noesis unit will bolster ITS’ systems engineering and technical assistance work and expand the company’s presence in the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Department of Homeland Security, according to ITS. The acquisition also will establish new customer relationships for ITS with the Office of Naval Research, the National Science Foundation, and other civil agencies, the company said.
ITS holds federal contracts under General Services Administration’s Answer and Millennia Lite. The company’s business portfolio also includes a number of GSA schedule contracts and indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contracts with the Navy and Department of Transportation.
Noesis, meanwhile, has acquired Defense Holdings Inc. Noesis’ remaining divisions will operate under the DHI banner. DHI focuses on such areas as technology incubation, pursuing naval engineering opportunities and photoluminescent safety solutions.
