It would seem to me that more people would be willing to use the phone or go online rather than having to go into IRS centers... but I would really love to see the data.

The IRS will cut back its hours by three hours a day.

IRS Commissioner Mark Everson said in an interview that the tax agency needed to absorb cuts in its customer service budget, and the change saves the agency about $10 million.
