ITS takes Leads

The acquisition is the second in two months for the IT services company.

ITS has acquired The Leads Corp., the information technology services company’s second acquisition in as many months.

Leads has about 90 employees and estimated fiscal 2005 revenue of $15 million. The Arlington, Va.-based company specializes in program management, Web application development, enterprise architecture, business process improvement, and acquisition management.

The acquisition brings ITS the Patent and Trademark Office and the Treasury Department, both new customers for the company. Other Leads customers that ITS will inherit include the Homeland Security and Defense departments, the Environmental Protection Agency and the General Services Administration.

The Leads acquisition follows ITS’ purchase in December of Noesis’ Federal Sector Support Services business. The Noesis unit had 100 employees and estimated revenue of $32 million.

Leads contract vehicles include GSA’s Schedule 70, Management, Organizational, and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) and Millennia Lite.

The acquired company will operate as ITS’ Leads Business Unit. Joseph Tagliareni, Leads’ chief executive officer, will head that organization.
