ManTech to help develop university curriculum

ManTech International and Texas State University-San Marcos have signed an agreement to jointly develop a computer forensics program, along with related internship programs.

Working alongside the integrator's computer forensics and intrusion analysis business, Texas State employees will try to turn their research into practical applications. The partnership could lead to cooperative business opportunities, according to a ManTech announcement.

"We are excited about finding common research interests where we can collaborate," said Moonis Ali, chairman of the university's computer science department. "An industry partner allows us an insight into trends in the field that we do not regularly see. ManTech has highly skilled computer security professionals and an excellent reputation in the field."
