Gartner analyst moves to Input
Paul Schmitz will serve as vice president of the Input Executive Program.
Paul Schmitz, former federal-sector vice president of Gartner's Executive Program, has joined market research firm Input in a similar role. Schmitz will serve as vice president of the Input Executive Program.
The program is a membership organization for senior executives in the government information technology contracting market. Schmitz will lead the Input Executive Program and provide research on best practices, executive education and other resources for members. The goal is to help members improve sales, marketing and business development at their companies.
Schmitz was at Gartner for seven years. Alan Balutis, president and chief executive officer of government strategies at Input, said that technology leaders have a growing need to draw on proven best practices as their performance on high-profile government projects comes under increasing scrutiny.
Program members also have access to industry and public-sector executives through the Input Consulting Group.
