Merlin, MiPro form PeopleSoft partnership

Merlin Technical Solutions and MiPro Consulting have formed a partnership to deliver PeopleSoft solutions to federal government customers.

MiPro specializes in PeopleSoft services, while Merlin is a federal information technology solutions provider.

The two companies announced the partnership at Alliance 2006, an annual event for higher education, government and public-sector users of Oracle applications. Oracle acquired PeopleSoft in 2004.

"The enterprise applications market remains a growth category in the federal market and the need for experienced professional services teams to execute implementations is key to any federal agency's project success," said John Trauth, Merlin's executive vice president of government sales, in a statement announcing the alliance.

MiPro's PeopleSoft consulting services include implementations, upgrades, solution optimization and application management. The partnership brings Merlin's access to federal agencies and contracts to MiPro, said Chris Bishop, MiPro's president.
