CIO Council honors

The CIO Council gave out its annual awards at the IRMCO conference earlier this week.

The team winner:

The USA Services team for its Citizen Services Cost Calculator, which helps agencies "estimate the costs required to establish and operate a quality contact center. This software tool outlines and approximates the support costs based on expected call and email volumes and other functions such as hours of operation."

The individual winners:

* John Lussier from the Navy for his work in telecommunications
* John McManus from NASA for his work on enterprise architecture
* Brett Bobley from the National Endowment for the Humanities, who serves as co-chairman of the Small Agency CIO Council
