Entrust’s TruePass approved for use in federal PKI projects
Company becomes one of only five to be approved by the Federal PKI Policy Authority.
Entrust’s TruePass security portfolio has made the Path Discovery and Validation Working Group’s (PD-VAL WG) Qualified Validation List. The Federal Public Key Infrastructure Policy Authority has approved the portfolio for use by federal agencies.
“Being one of only five companies making this important cut puts us in a great position to help government agencies who need to move quickly to implement a strong security solution,” Kevin Simzer, the company's senior vice president of marketing, said in a press release. Entrust is the fifth company to be added to the PD-VAL WG list.
TruePass is a Java application that tracks users through individually assigned digital IDs. The software also allows users to digitally sign and receive digital receipts for online transactions.
