Stanley Associates announces IPO

Stanley Associates has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for the proposed initial public offering of its common stock.

The company and some of its stockholders will sell the common stock shares, Stanley Associates said in an announcement posted on its Web site.

Citigroup Global Markets will act as sole book-running manager and Wachovia Securities will be joint lead manager. Raymond James and Associates; Cowen and Co.; and Stifel, Nicolaus and Co. are also acting as underwriters.

The registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with SEC, but has not yet become effective.
