WFCW takes to the airwaves

Federal Computer Week is on the air.

We have made several ventures into other media. We do radio 30-second spots on Washington, D.C. all-news radio station WTOP. But beginning Thursday 18 May at 10:30a ET, we are doing a longer program on WTOP's sister station, WFED-AM 1050. The station is also known as Federal News Radio and can be heard online at FederalNewsRadio.com.

The program is hosted by Federal News Radio's Adam Tuss.

Over the coming weeks, it will feature FCW editors, reporters, and columnists talking about many of the issues covered in the pages of Federal Computer Week, including some stories behind the stories.

In the coming weeks, we will also make the half-hour program available for download as a Podcast on our soon-to-be unveiled redesigned Web site. (More on that later too!)

Thursday's program will focus on the innovation package that we did a few weeks ago. Joining me on Thursday's program is FCW associated editor Michael Hardy, who wrote one of those stories and did a really good job developing the package of stories.
