GTSI promotes five to VP
The promotions result from a companywide assessment of all employees of the government solutions provider.
GTSI, a government information technology solutions provider, has rewarded five employees -- including three sales executives -- with promotions to the rank of vice president.
The five new vice presidents are: Cathy Finotti, financial operations; Denise Harrison, information technology applications and information resources; Kevin Brennan, sales; Tom Kennedy, sales; and Chris Kiernan, sales.
“Earlier this year, we embarked on several initiatives, one of which was an aggressive 360-degree review of all employees at GTSI,” said Jim Leto, president and chief executive officer of the company. “We are committed to first looking to promote from within because we have an enormously talented organization.”
“As we transform GTSI into a solutions-oriented organization, it is clear that we not only need but also value the kind of dedication and leadership these individuals provide,” Leto said.
“The federal marketplace has many unique business needs and has become more diverse,” he added. “By segmenting our sales force into three divisions, we can better focus on the unique business needs of each and give our customers a broader executive voice.”
