This Federal Computer WeekLY thing seems to be following me.
I along with other local press people were speaking earlier this week with a group of small- and midsize businesspeople who were inquiring how one goes about getting into print and there was a reporter from the Washington Post there. I, of course, took the opportunity to ask her to remind folks over at the Post that we are Federal Computer Week, not Federal Computer WeekLY, as they wrote in Saturday's paper. Government Computer News news editor Jason Miller noted that I appear to have a bit of a chip on my shoulder about this.
Then, last night, I'm on D.C. local cable news station NewsChannel 8 talking about instant messaging and they close out by thanking me and again say, "Chris Dorobek, the editor of Federal Computer Weekly."
See -- I wouldn't have to be paranoid if people weren't always saying Federal Computer WeekLY.
I'll get over it.
