What say you about Doan, TCE
Another comment about the Doan contract:Although not about Doan but about GSA, I got this comment from a person at one agency about the whole :I heard from one GSA person who said it just took time to get everything in order, and I can certainly understand that. I still had questions about why it took some three weeks for GSA to talk about it. I certainly do not think it was a John Johnson decision nor a Jim Williams decision and certainly not a Doan decision. But it seems to me that agencies are making assessments about Networx, and GSA certainly wouldn't want agencies going out there and making all sorts of telecom decisions on their own.

Regarding the whole Doan brouhaha... this one:
I don't believe she did anything wrong and it's for $20K and she didn't award contract (come-on). It's more for the IG insult!!!
I wonder what would have happened if a contracting officer had done this. Would there be a forgiveness for them or would there be zero tolerance.

When was GSA going to tell the rest of their customers about the Treasury deal. The other Departments have to find out thru the press. Each agency has contributed millions of dollars in management fees with no special deals. All agencies have unique requirements not just Treasury. Is someone planning on explaining the unique requirements to the CIO's of the other Federal agencies. Talk about customer service.
