Redefining a small business

I have received one phone call and two e-mails already today about the Army awarding Information Technology Enterprise Solutions 2 Hardware (ITES-2H) contracts, in part because GTSI Corp. was awarded as a small business.

The rules for small businesses are such that I don't know why GTSI would be classified as a small business, but I have asked, and we'll be following up on it.

UPDATE: I have heard from several people who say that yes, in fact GTSI does fall under the small-business category. Apparently they stay under the 1,500-employee limit. And the small business code that the Army used was for larger small businesses.
