Davis update: 'I feel honor bound to stay'

Last night, I mentioned the tidbit about Tom Davis potentially eying greener pastures.

Well, Davis was on Federal News Radio in Washington, D.C. this morning talking about contracting and the Doan hearing. During that interview, Davis denied that he is leaving any time soon. (Hear the interview here.)

"As long as I think I can still be productive, I'll stay in Congress. When I think I can't, I'll move on," he said.

"I'm the focal point on these issues, and if I were to leave, somebody would have a hard time picking up the ball," he said. "There will come a time when I look back and say that there is a time for somebody else, but as long as I'm feeling productive for the region, I feel honor bound to stay."
