So I have received several e-mail messages and a few calls from people asking why General Services Administration administrator Lurita Doan's appearance before Rep. Henry Waxman's House Oversight and Government Reform Committee has been delayed.
Federal Computer Week reporter Matthew Weigelt got wind of it late yesterday, and...well, we don't know why. It literally just came down yesterday -- and it messes up FCW's editorial for the upcoming issue, which offers recommendations on what Doan should say.
But the delay is interesting.
My speculation would be that it came from the House side, but that is not based on any inside knowledge. Our goal here is to tell you what's going on, not to hold information back!
But the delay is interesting. For example, will the delay free GSA to award Networx next week... or this week.
Update: We hear that the hearing may be rescheduled to March 26. We will let you know more when it is confirmed.
