A new job for Paul Brubaker
As mentioned, Brubaker was the DOD deputy CIO. Of course, he also worked for Sen. William Cohen (R-Maine), and in that role, helped write the Clinger-Cohen Act.Brubaker is a big thinker and therefore he has always been a CJD-fav. He thinks outside the box, to use a tired phrase. He always challenges me, which can be so helpful.So, congratulations to Brubaker. Whew! Not much time! Get going!
The White House announced late today that Paul Brubaker is being nominated to be the administrator of the Transportation Department's Research and Innovative Technology Administration.
The President has nominated Paul R. Brubaker, of Virginia, to be Administrator of the Research and Innovative Technology Administration at the Department of Transportation. Mr. Brubaker currently serves as Chairman and CEO of Procentrix, Inc. Prior to this, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of SI International. Earlier in his career, he served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (Deputy Chief Information Officer). Mr. Brubaker received his bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University and his master's degree from Kent State University.
