Waxman should be called Axman

In reference to "Waxman to Doan: It's time to go," I take strong issue with Rep. Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) demanding the resignation of General Services Administration Administrator Lurita Doan. Ever since the Democratic Party won an ever-so-slim majority in the House and Senate, they have been relentless in attacking any person who has any relationship with the Bush administration.

It is Waxman who has become the worst witch-hunter in this country's history, even more so than Sen. Joe McCarthy. Waxman's consistent browbeating of people who are working very hard to bring order and stability to the government during extremely tough times serves no purpose but his own.

If Waxman is the true face of the majority in Congress, then there is no hope of humanity in the party. The American people need to stand up and really look hard at this "Axman" character and the rest of Congress and ask, "Is this really what we wanted?" At least with the GOP, work got done.
