And the 2007 Rising Stars are...
The winners were selected because of the work they did and the potential they show for the future.
The following is the list of Federal Computer Week’s 2007 Rising Star Awards winners.
This is the second year of FCW’s Rising Star Awards program. It started late last year when members of the Young AFCEANS of AFCEA International’s Bethesda, Md., chapter came to us with the idea of honoring younger workers.
We were ecstatic about the potential of this program. Those awards are the culmination of that thought.
The winners were selected because of the work they did and the potential they show for the future.
FCW’s Rising Star Awards program is modeled on the prestigious Federal 100 awards program, which recognizes government and industry workers who have gone above and beyond their job requirements in the past year. An independent panel of judges chooses people who have made a difference in the way agencies and companies develop, acquire, manage and use information technology.
FCW will recognize each Rising Star’s accomplishments in the Dec. 3 issue and during a Dec. 5 luncheon at the J.W.
Marriott in Washington.
In the meantime, congratulations to each of them.
