Letter: Standing up to Bush administration takes guts

Regarding "Court orders White House to preserve e-mail backups," it is encouraging to note a federal judge has not backed away under enormous political pressure. These types of lawsuits have a recent history of being swept under the carpet, allowing the presidential administration to continue its abuse of the rule of law. It is high time that the Bush/Cheney dictatorial rule over the Constitution comes to an abrupt halt. My feeling is if one judge in the federal system will stand tall against usurpation and disregard for laws, more will follow suit and eventually these two criminals can be brought to justice.

Until they are brought down they will continue to act above the law.
