FCW Insider: Changes at a big IT vendor

So I have been getting pings throughout the day about changes at a big IT vendor's federal division. We have nailed down that the long-time head of this company's federal team is making a change, but I cannot confirm any of the details... For example, why? Who is taking over? What does this mean?

Company officials describe these as "exciting changes" -- and then they asked me to wait a few days so they could lock everything down. Unfortunately, once word is out there, we can't sit on things like this. Our job is to find out what is going on and tell you about it.

They asked for a few days. I told them that we would have to write something tomorrow, meaning Friday. Given that this is a business story, so Washington Technology will be all over it. My guess is we'll get something nailed down tomorrow, one way or another.
